Here are more photos I have taken which will give us inspiration for colour themes.
While looking out of one of our windows, I spotted this Baltimore Oriole on our neighbour’s fence. We don’t see them often, so I am delighted to have captured this one digitally.
This is another one taken through a window, but not as clear as the others. I think it is a young Cardinal. If you can identify it, please let us know by sending a comment.
Our lilacs were glorious this year.
These are lovely volunteers. They seed themselves and pop up in different locations every year. I love their blue colour!
I love these pretty violets, but must admit that they have become a nuisance. There are two types. One is invasive; the other is not.A neighbour planted these several years ago and afterwards, they spread over to us. They are taking over our lawn. Beautiful when in bloom, but not good for the lawn as they tend to squeeze all other plants out.
Here are two more varieties of the gorgeous tulips that bloomed for us this spring.
