This Throwback Thursday, we go back to my newsletter review of one of Jennifer Chiaverini‘s wonderful Elm Creek Novels. This one is from December 2007. All of the Elm Creek series are a favourite for most, if not all, quilters!
This was meant to be a book review, but my copy just arrived and I have not yet had time to read it. It promises to be as interesting and enjoyable as all of the preceding books in the series.
Sylvia takes up a seasonal quilt abandoned for over six years. While working on it, she recalls the festivities of her youth at Elm Creek Manor. She names her quilt New Year’s Reflections.
Sylvia and Andrew married in a previous Elm Creek story, but Andrew’s daughter Amy, is opposed to the marriage and Sylvia must work to overcome that. I look forward to revisiting the warmth and pleasure of visiting Elm Creek Manor again over the holidays.
