Book Review: Aunt Dimity & . . .

aunt-dimity

The Aunt Dimity series of books written by Nancy Atherton are sheer delight! I have read every one of them, including Aunt Dimity & the Buried Treasure published this year. I just finished it today and, as always, was sorry to have to close that back cover!

They don’t need to be read in order, but I strongly advise it. That way, you will get to know Lori Shepherd and all of the interesting people who live in the village of Finch. Then, you can then follow Lori from the beginning of her journey and accompany her along the way.

Look for Nancy’s books  on Amazon, at your local book store, or via Kindle, Kobo, or your favourite place to buy good books. Visit Aunt Dimity’s World online for photos, the great recipes in these stories, to meet Nancy Atherton, and more. Unlike most of the books I  review, these are not based on quilting. However, they take us to a  charming gentler place – a small, rural village in the English Costwolds.

Once you begin reading them, be sure to leave a comment. I’d like to know that you enjoy them as much as I do. I can’t wait for the next one!

In order of publication, they are:

1.   Aunt Dimity’s Death
2.   Aunt Dimity and the Duke
3.   Aunt Dimity’s Good Deed
4.   Aunt Dimity Digs In

I also love and read these books. Thanks for sharing.

    • You are referring to the Aunt Dimity series I wrote about back in October. Happy to know that you enjoy and read them too! I know there are many who do, but must admit that you are the only other person I actually know, Eileen. 🙂 We’ll have to have a discussion about them one day soon!
