Pattern Testers

Edna Summers

Edna is from Fort Worth, Texas.
She has sewn since childhood, first making her own clothes and later her children's as well. Edna enjoys quilting now and uses a number of different brands of sewing machines to have fun doing it.

Edna says that a "quality" machine, be it an old or a new one, is the best thing that we can do for ourselves.

Besides making many beautiful quilts, she has developed a pattern for a handy, easy, safe, way to transport your hot iron to and from sewing and quilting classes. It is called "The Iron Slipper." Click on the link to see and order it.

Edna is holding the Canadian Flag Wall Hanging
she made and quilted from our design.

Elaine Phillips

Elaine has been quilting for about 10 years and continues to take as many quilting classes as she can. She is an experienced quilter who considers herself a beginner when she tries a new technique.

She enjoys watching all of the quilt shows she can find on television and considers Kaye Wood one of the best quilt teachers on TV.

comes in a variety of looks and moods depending upon your choice of fabrics, colours, and positioning of the block.
